We were vastly inferior to Bournemouth, but not to Norwich today. Their scorer is apparently sought by Arsenal. Fee required £25m. It was a top end Premier League finish. They just about had the better chances. We do boot it away too often, when it clearly is the case that we can pass it about with the best of them. There is no need for the possesison statistics to look so bad - we could do more harm with our little ones moving around making it uncomfortable for big centre backs, rather than giving them a head start when they challenge for it. With a few tactical tweaks and the same confidence level we can carry on. I like Palmer and hope somehow he can have a run in the team.
Agree with the ball retention issue. Overall tho a couple of quality additions and we will certainly be a comfortable mid table side. On another day we could have won, rode our luck abit but defended well I thought overall.
To say how exposed our back line was today I thought our defending and holding players up until we got numbers back was brilliant.
