We obviously have loads of mega-rich locals queuing up to take over. They don’t want a sensible approach either. They’ll use the millions earned from stadium and shirt sponsorship deals to adopt a high-risk strategy of recruiting players with Premier League experience in order to push for promotion.

These owners do not appear to be mega rich in footballing terms either. More ten-Bob billionaires than actual billionaires from all that I’ve gleaned around the internet.
Difference being, all our previous owners still had the interests and hopes of the supporters in mind, John Dennis being the classic example as he was a fan.
We were firmly tipped to drop that season too as we have been for decades at this level, but against all odds, by buying wisely and cheaply the correct footballing blend of players, won automatic promotion to the premiership.

These owners do not give two f**ks about the supporters or the club really as this season should have made clear, they just want to make money at no risk to themselves.

What risk to themselves are they taking?

    Exactly.

It might as well be a bunch of us fans running the club rather than outsiders who don't invest a penny. The attraction of their 'business acumen' doesn't seem to be validated by the facts either.
