Think we're lacking, should have won that, yes we were poor but I think the Struber situation isn't helping.
Maybe.. maybe not I would have thought running our blood to water on Wednesday had more to do with it.. Bottom line is where not a good championship side..
Quality is what we are lacking. No one can hit a dead ball or make a killer pass. No one can take a chance when they arise. Woodrow had at least two he'd have buried a year ago. Confidence may help, but it looks like another long season, probably without Struber. I'm really skint, so that's the last £10 for a bit.
He's a young un worth his place hopefully in centre midfield but he's still got a long way to go to being established Championship class.
We have a mass of inconsistency up top. There's no point looking at what these "strikers" did once in a match 10 games or so ago. They need to take their chances, or at least look threatening, each game. Ours don't.
The sooner Struber leaves the better, these tactics are killing us. 3/4 players still needed in order to survive this season.
I think our fitness helped us out massively (credit to the sports science guys etc) in those lockdown games and said so at the time. Now we're back to the usual season set up with matches.
