I posted this on a previous post.
......... Struber ...... pick yer best f****ing side.
I got some saying on that thread that confidence was high with 3 clean sheets.
I said we will see about that if we go 1 or 2 behind.
Well we got our answer against Stoke.

Other teams know our confidence is brittle - hence other teams come out of the blocks like a train and try to steamroller us into submission in the first 15 minutes.
Watch for it on Tuesday against Luton and the rest of games that are left.
If we can survive the first 15 minutes of a game then we have a chance.

Neither QPR, Millwall, Blackburn or Stoke have come out of the blocks against us or tried to steamroller us in to submission though? If anything it's been our inability to capitalise on our positive starts that has made some the games tougher than they maybe needed to be.

Don't disagree with some of what you've said, but outside of maybe one or two selections that would divide most fans, that probably was our best side.

Got to hand it to thi Nudge, tha picked Halme and I think he would have made a difference. I think Struber went in with over confidence and too many attackers to start. We needed to contain them for an hour and then push.

There’s a difference between being steam-rollered and gifting comical goals though. I agree we don’t seem to like teams getting in our faces.

Confidence is fragile, gained by the inch & lost by the mile.
