Is this still going to be allowed for retail? Even though none essential shopping is not a valid reason to leave the house?

I believe so based on conversations I saw last night. It was ruled out by a media article which caused confusion, but I haven't seen anything official.

My mate has an independent clothes shop outside of town centre. He can do it. No in shop browsing. Card payments only. Collection at front door or postal option.

I ordered and collected a heater from Argos this morning. No access to the shop. Prepaid online orders are processed at a makeshift counter at the door.

It was probably the fastest service I've ever received at Argos. I'm usually hanging around a bit until my number comes up.

I don't know what they sell that's classed as essential as the most essential thing that I bought was some dog chews:confused:

Tried to return a faulty xmas present to Argos, still have the queuing outside like its instant death if you come into contact with anyone and l was told "no exchanges" before l even opened my mouth. I replied "what do l do with the ******* thing then?" It'll be May by the time l get an exchange, l may as well buy it again.

Argos when it was open was too much for me. Stand behind this line, give order number queue up again five Order number again and sometimes to queue up to leave. We stopped using them and just used Amazon and waited a day for stuff.
