Literally get rid of every single player in the first team. This losing mentality is impossible to shift, only way forward in the summer is to get shut and start afresh. No fight, no stamina, no ability. Only player I'd keep is McBurnie, and he'll not be seen here again when his loan's done. Can't wait to get home and get to bed. Mardy.
The ironic thing is these lot would probably be OK in League One and given the contracts most are on and lack of interest expected from other clubs, most will be here next season.
Sadly i doubt it very much. Cant defend properly, midfield totally ineffective and a strikeforce that dont know where the back of the net is. This teams got a double relegation written all over it sadly for me.
I think the defense will do ok in League one if we have a decent keeper added - Surely Davies and that other bloke are gone. We'll need a right back for Yiadom and we need a better left back. . Midfield - we need to replace Gardner and Williams, upfront we need to replace Mcbernie. I think the most critical area will be midfield - we need some narly hard bstard and a fit as fck box to box charger.
But then if they get us back promoted we are again stuck with players not good enough for this level. At least with a clear out we stand a chance that those we bring in will be better at championship level, when we get back up.
