Theres a good interview with Chien Lee from last March on his twitter page.It's mainly about Nice but there are also mentions of Barnsley. I don't know how to transfer it on to the BBS but if someone can it's worth a read.
I'd rather either Mr Lee or Conway would put something about their collective future plans and /or ambitions for Barnsley FC in our programme, similar to the efforts of the Fulham Chairman Mr Khan who has a regular column in the Fulham matchday magazine. As a matter of choice, I don't use Twitter.
I agree a monthly column wouldn't go a miss. As for Lee he seems to shun the media, interviews and such.He explains that it's not really his style.I would imagine he's more of a silent partner and as the owner of worldwide organisations he has people who face the public on his behalf.This still doesn't excuse the lack of communication from Oakwell and if and when Mr Conway isn't available Dane should step up to the plate and keep supporters in the loop. Just want to mention as well against Birmingham there 15 people in our directors box and against Wednesday it was choc a bloc.
I would hazard a guess that his reasons for shunning the media and his secrecy is that his power is built on that secrecy. Hide your financial dealings and it makes it very hard for people to prove you arent as wealthy as you want people to believe.
