    Trying to Trace and Track a variant that should never have been able to get into circulation in this country .
    Any decent thinking Government Dept would have put measures in to test visitors from a country racked with COVID especially after what we’ve just been through ,
    But no there’s money to be made with these people coming and going so it’s left till it’s too late .

    Seems that after numerous government spokespeople have defended this earlier today, the government have now suggested that the additional guidance was in fact posted in error and no curbs on movement are in place. You couldn't make it up could you?!?!?

    Don't get all this variant stuff. Surely a virus will just mutate anyway regardless of what country its in. We could shut all the borders down and a variant could just spring up here.

    Wouldn't have stopped me travelling out of Kirklees anyway. It's been a disgrace for years that all Kirklees is treated the same way. Huddersfield doesn't have much covid but is let down by Dewsbury, Batley and Cleckheaton. We shouldn't be treated the same as other towns just because it's the same council. It's not the fault of South Kirklees that North Kirklees is a mess.
