Actually doing some research or speaking to fans before Friday night so that they can report what's really going on at the club during the build up to the game?
They're going to have to do something to spice it up - an easy win for Huddersfield in front of a couple of dozen away fans probably isn't exactly going to be the Friday night showdown they dreamed of when they chose it!
They'll be too busy sticking their noses up the orifice of a "top" premier club to think of such matters methinks
I am not sure that what ever is going on at our club is of any interest to neutrals tuning in to watch a match on Sky on Friday night , & to be fair why should it ? All of us want answers to many questions but Sky are covering the match because Huddersfield are in the promotion race , they are not covering the match because of our off the field issues , however if there was a news story developing then I feel Sky sports news might have a look at it but friday nights match is part of their live efl coverage
I am not surprised , they are in administration & the new owner saga is lingering on , until something actually happens off the field then there is nothing to report at Oakwell , when hopefully it does then I expect it to receive media speculation .
I wouldn't imagine there to be more than a dozen viewers anyway for huddersfield v barnsley on a friday night. I'm sure people will have it on in the background somewhere if they cant find the remote.
I would expect them to have a section where the presenter asks the pundits "whats gone wrong at Barnsley, they finished 5th last season".
Possibly yes I agree but I think others are hoping that our owners & problems at the club might be highlighted , although this is of great importance to us I do not see it as a news story that Sky will jump all over , at least not yet !
All the Sky pundits I've heard balk at that point and mention it grudgingly saying we were lucky that we had "Mowatt and dropped on with Dike".
