Burnley sold out?

LOLdham have sold 3400 for Fulham and are getting another allocation.

Craven Cottage is not that much bigger than Turf Moor.

 

Home fans don't expect to reach a five figure crowd.....

It's a real shame loads of our fans can't go watch us when the ground will probably have at least 10000 empty seats.

 

I decided to wait, foolishly, as I assumed we'd be getting the entire stand like Lincoln did last season. Tight Lancashire b'stards

Could be a Peterborough situation where we could have had more but didn't think we'd sell them all so didn't want to be out of pocket by taking them.

 

Might well be.

Poor planning by the club if so - we're averaging 1,600 or so away in the league and have only taken fewer than 1,000 twice (852 at Shrewsbury on a Tuesday, 941 at Wycombe), I think we could've easily sold the entire away stand at a tenner a pop.

 

We’ll still have upwards of 2000 in the ground I would suggest!

 

I’m tempted to sit in there end with young un’, surely they could accommodate a pay on the door gate!!

 

With all the empty seats down the sides I'm sure it will be possible to sit well away from home fans in case the odd squeak of "yessss" comes out every time we score
