Just a thought and maybe nonsense but with Moore being out for the season that it maybe a good thing that Brown was sent off and miss 3 games as it now forces us to play a different way. Brown and Moore together worked really well but Brown without Moore we couldn't score, he got sent off and we score 3.

Bahre, Dougal, Green all now can play a significant role and Cavare, Mowatt, Mcgheehan will play more forward and with more freedom.

I do by the way rate Brown and he has played excellent but it did seem tougher for him to impact the games as much without Moore to link with. This is just a discussion post not a statement of fact.

    It sometimes happens like that.

I remember last time we were gunning for promotion from league one & most of us were a bit worried as Hammill had a 3 game ban & we’d dubbed by many as a bit of a one man team but Harry Chapman stepped up as did a few others & we won all 3 without him

To play 442 without the big man up to it has to be more difficult for the wide players to link up with, it was good to see Dougal start with Mcgheehan and Mowatt, Bahre came on and the assist for Woodrow was perfect and Green looked quick and dangerous, it may just work out for the best. Can wait for the Sunderland game.

I have faith in Bahre to step up now. Along with Green I think we have more than capable alternatives.

Green coming on and scoring was a big plus. Every time he got the ball he got clattered on Saturday. That's a mark of respect.

He's going to improve with games and will give us something we haven't had all season. The type of raw race.that wins you free kicks, penalties and gets opposing defenders booked.

totally agree, I was impressed by him. Hopefully it was not a 'flash in the pan' and we have unearthed a gem here.

I think the players (or lack of) we now have at our disposal are set up for Away team football. However, If we're the ones 'pushing on' at home, I think we may have some struggles ahead. We'll know better after Accrington and Sunderland.

Not many raved more about Saturday's result than me, but Moore's injury is a terrible blow. I suspect it's the difference between an automatic and the play offs. If we do get an automatic it says a lot about this amazing group of players and even more about the coach. I'll put my tin hat on but it often seems to me they are succeeding in spite of the Clubs decisions not because of them.
