one of the best performances I’ve seen in a long time every one was brilliant, Browns red seemed harsh but the lads responded brilliantly to it. The defence was immense as always with pinnock seeming to win everything. Woodrow was brilliant up top relieving the defence and scoring a very good goal. The midfield won the battle and McGheean got a very good goal. The subs were excellent with Bahre looking a complete different player to last week and looked dangerous every time he got the ball and Green showed his pace and skill and also showed his commitment winning a couple of 50/50 challenges which was brilliant to see. Stendel and tonge subs were executed perfectly and the passion they show on the touch line is refreshing and the style of football they have made this team play is a joy to watch. You redssss
A great performance in difficult circumstances- as well as excellent pressing & breaking forward, we showed great composure in the face of some dreadful challenges - their LB assaulted both Brown & Green & no foul - we get a yellow & a red whilst nothing for Southend!
Superb. Dominated 1st half should of scored. 2nd half so clinical, pace and power should of been 4 or 5. Great 3 pts well done reds.
It's beyond the wit of man, how anyone could be critical of today's performance. To win 3-0 away from home whilst being down to ten men for two thirds of the game and with one of our top strikers out for the season, can only be applauded in my opinion. Well done everyone who pulled a shirt on today.
The thing that impressed me today was that we seemed to win everything in the air in our own box from corners and crosses. Well done
Absolutely agree. Brown was harshly judged and will feel hard done by-justifiably IMHO. The entire Team were Massive against a "professional" opposition who also should have "won" a Red Card again IMHO, niggling little nudges and blatant fouls and the Ref was somewhat biased against us. Have a safe trip back up the M1 everyone--great result we are proud of you ALL and especially Daniel who wears his heart on his sleeve--a real RED without who we would not be where we are!!!
Couldnt agree more, triumph in adversity. Showed up wi t hout our top s corer reduced to 10 men for 75% of match and played them off the park......29 shot s on goal too. Quite posdibly our best performanc of the season, well done reds.
Looking more and more like youselves and us going up - you were good today, we were just solid and doing the business. Can't see Luton falling away unless injuries hit our centre backs - they have been central to everything, not missed any games and hardly had a booking. Sunderland's remaining fixtures are much tougher than yours or ours, baring calamities I think if you avoid losing to Sunderland it is a done deal. Nice that Sunderland and Portsmouth might have the checkatrade as conciliation so prizes all round
The thing that stood out today for me was we stuck to the plan, which was to keep passing the ball. Even after we went a man down we continued to play football. No panic.
