Nah, it’s just Project Fear just ask the Brexiteers. They have no intention of decimating workers rights

Iots of the brexit bunch on here said it wouldn’t be the bonfire of rights that it was obvious it would be.

Well a few people on here argued strongly against those of us who predicted that. This would happen. Even though it’s a certain as death and taxes

On the subject of Brexit bonuses. At least we won’t have to put up with foreign truck drivers coming over here bringing us food and medicines
It’s going to get a lot worse in the coming weeks

So, the downsides of Brexit are anything from the butchery of workers' rights, to truck drivers not being able to take their cheese sandwich beyond Dover. As well as risking the death of a child, because he can no longer source his medical cannabis from the Netherlands.

Where are the benefits of Brexit?

I’ve been asking that question for 4 years and so far the best anyone has come up with is freedom from European rules but when asked to name one they want to be free of they invariably can’t name a single one.
Of course it is a benefit if you want to use banned pesticides or scrap workers rights but it’s only a benefit for a very select few. I can list pages of things that are worse but genuinely can’t think of one single thing that’s better

As a billionaire business owner, you might benefit from paying your staff less?
The government could arguably save money that it doesn't send to the EU any more, although nothing like as much as they'd like (and probably at a loss)?
Plenty of opportunity for customs agents, drug dealers and pimps in Kent?

Its the Lexiteers who get me. All those years of complaining about the Tories attacking workers rights, and they vote (and continue to support) a situation that will allow the Tories to attack workers rights with no redress. What is the point of Len McCluskey?

You don't the half of what's going off behind the scenes. It's an operational nightmare but beyond that this government are trying to change laws which will ruin this country. My main concern is that Covid is the perfect cover and excuse to use statutory instruments to f*ck us all by the backdoor.

There's loads of examples of brexiters whinging because it's now harder or more expensive to do business with Europe - who'd have thought it.
