Agreed. Thought it was a strange sub with Moncur going off. A little more defensive - and certainly didn't let the debut get in the way of a very positive contribution. Looks very promising.

Moncur was a passenger to be fair. He doesnt even look fit. When we dont have the ball just watch him - Hes a jogger on the pitch. Can give us something when attacking but otherwise get in the bin moncur.

Funny that as most people round me said he was non stop all game and I have to agree. He's a wonderful player to watch going forward and he's learning the other side of the game too.

Moncur will knock us 10 goals, no doubt at all.

Agree with all that, except even with the ball he seems to slow us down half the time. There were numerous occasions when forward or wide passes were on and he dawdled. Was decent for 20 minutes and then was blowing out of his arse.

Bird did well when he came on imho.

I can't agree with that. I would have said we only had one passenger tonight but I'm not going to go against a fantastic 3 points.

Really impressive showing from Bird due to his work rate and tenacity to close down opponents and hunt the ball. Just the sort of stuff that suits the way we play. He used the ball well too.

Also, great to see him being so vocal and pulling his team mates into position. For a 19 year old to come in on his debut and set an example in terms of character to some of the supposedly more senior players ought to be a little embarrassing for them.
