Big week ahead

A big test ahead. I just hope that the team can come out with their heads held high.

The squad will be tested and so it will be a time to judge the work PH did over the summer. If he got it right then we will be going into the next international window smiling, if he didn't we shall go in to the International window glum and surely wondering what the next 3 months atleast will offer. That's for the journey home after Leeds no matter how small or long.

Brighton's next up. Alarm clocks will be set early and I just hope the team can compete down in Sussex because it will be a long journey back for the 500/600 fans with a lot of emotions been felt.

 

Broken down: if we get beat on Saturday I'll be smashing my phone on the coach home.

The whole season is a big test, considering where we've come from and our previous time in the championship.

It's a test we've been up to in my opinion, and some!

As long as the reds give it their all and don't roll over then that's something to carry into the next game, regardless of the results.

Just enjoy it mate, don't look too much into the why's and what fors, and expect it to fail. Life's too short.

Be a short trip from my hotel room.

 

Don't expect anything from Brighton and think villa will be tougher than most expect. As long as we compete I'm happy. Don't think anyone could've predicted such an excellent start to the season. Worst case scenario is we head into the break mid table. Hardly the end if the world is it...

What do we define as Heckingbottom getting it wrong in the summer though? If we lose the next three or four games does it mean he's got it wrong?

I'd struggle to predict anything in this division. Look at Wolves' last two league games. Getting beat is part of football. I'm satisfied seeing us take these teams on. Beating them makes it even better, but after the relative dross of recent years, I'm proud of what we're doing.

Oh come on we all know if we lose a few Hecky has got it wrong. Should have been 10/15 Premier league under 23's brought in.

 

Personally think we'll get beat this weekend but I couldn't care less, love this team, love the manager and even if we do get relegated (worst scenario) I still wouldn't want us to change anything

 

You don't CARE LESS if Barnsley get beat this weekend or get relegated this season.

I'm not sure what to put to that really.

If he's 23 now then he would have been 22 when he joined Barnsley?

 

If we lose all three games he can hold his head up high going into the break. A season is 46 games. Out of curiosity, what would you define as 'not getting it right'? I'm baffled at your opinion that Hecky's work over the summer is going to be judged on the next 3 games. Have you been to any of our games this season? There will be no wondering from me 'what the next 3 months will offer' should we not get it right (whatever that means). Up the Reds.

Right understand this, I will not be dragged into a "I'm a better fan than you argument" with you, I've said before I couldn't give a toss about whether you go to every game or none at all, of course I care what our result is or I wouldn't go would I. But if we lose this weekend, I won't be on here unlike you trying to drag everyone down and shove your "I'm better than you" football knowledge down everyone's throats, in fact I won't be sat on here asking for Hecky's head if we go down. It's not in the slightest that I don't care it's the fact that this team has achieved so much and given me arguably the best team if ever had the pleasure of watching that I'll forgive a loss or even a relegation if we go about it the right way and I see the club has a plan and the drive and determination to achieve things in the right way, we have that now and I'm chuffed to bits.
