It really was a poor goal to give away, Mads carelessly passes the ball straight to their player, who knocks it over the top and Armstrong knocks it over an advancing Collins.
Mads had a decent game so shame he blotted his copy book there. Needs to mentally be better. When needing game management he does the opposite. Walks into midfield and lets Armstrong drift behind. Which isn't bad if he just moves simple balls sideways. But the pass was then awful. Shame as we deserved a clean sheet and in difficult conditions defence were very good up to that point. Im sure Val will have a word.
I don’t think Mads had a good game his distribution was poor and his concentration was lacking, contributory factors were the pitch and the rain but same was for all!
It was a dreadful goal to give away. Armstrong always looked deadly when the ball went over the top. He's like lightening. So for our centre half to, not only be that high up the pitch when we were defending a lead late on, but to carelessly give the ball away like that, was criminal. Had we not just doubled our lead, we'd have been talking about how we threw away 2 points.
