    Don't know why this one's really hit me. I think it's partly because I identify so strongly with Birmingham, partly because he's pretty much the same age as my parents, and partly because I just vaguely thought he'd go on forever. It was so unexpected too.

    Somehow feels weird that he won't still be putting the world to rights on the radio well after I've shuffled off.
