That was pretty decent tonight I thought. What was particularly pleasing was beating one of the anti football teams. A team full of hammer throwers. We know we can give any side a game that wants to take us on at football but we’ve tended to struggle against the more physical kick and rush sides. Luton, Cardiff, Millwall and the daddy of them all Birmingham. None of them interested in playing the ‘Beautiful game’ just in spoiling tactics. The only downside for me tonight (and it’s a small one) is with more composed finishing, Birmingham are the kind of side we would be sticking four or five past. Now bring on Bournemouth. That will be a real test.
It wouldn't be undeserved. That first half performance was one of the worst I've seen from an opposition side in quite some time.
Wycombe looks a banana skin, the one we all think we should win but usually we flop. Done it for many a season.
They keep our shooting boots permanently locked in the boot of the team bus. Mowatt sneaked in and got em a couple of times recently. But he's put them back. Nobody else knows how to get in.
well said mate. However, for me the shooting is getting to be more of a small concern I think. Another 12 shots, only 3 on target. Admitted a few were from range, but a good percentage of them were from a position where we really should at least be hitting the target and making their goalkeeper work. I'm sure this will be addressed by VI in the upcoming training sessions.
That’s the problem we never have our shooting boots on.personal up front needs to change for me ,that’s what’s so frustrating for me games we should win at a canter, ie Blackburn no way should we have lost that
