Watched this guy ont tele against Sheffield United Most talented player on the field. But the guy was played at wing back - totally played out of position by Wilson - Ariyibi was hardly in the game - what a waste !!! Surely this talent should be central attacking midfielder behind the striker. Good player that has the talent to be something special. Can't see Barnsley being able to afford him now.
He should be easier to afford now considering the shitload of money we've made since trying to sign him in our league one days, his contract having less time on it when he's clearly not going to sign a new deal with them and how Chesterfield are much worse off in the league. Before we were in the same league, hadn't made money from Stones/Mawson/Promotion, they were doing well in the league and in no rush to sell as his contract had a long time to run. Circumstances have definately changed.
He is out of contract at end of season so should be affordable and I agree he looked dangerous can't believe he was been played at wing back. Wouldn't mind seeing him here fighting for a place on wing.
