That weve had in the last 20 years wouldve capitulated today. Depleted squad, park the bus tactics from Stanley. In the past we wouldve played into their hands and tired ourselves out. Then lost it in the dying minutes. As it is, we've come out of this impossible week with our heads held high and 6 points. Stendel is brilliant.
I agree the football this season has been great to watch. I love it if were winning he doesn't stick defenders on and defend leads he keeps attacking so far so good.
A said to r lass today, "lets see what our manager is made of, this is a test for us" He did just fine.
What i like about this team is that they keep trying to play football even if it isn’t quite going for them as it wasn’t for the first 40 minutes. Most teams would start lumping it up to Woodrow and lose any sort of control again. The first came from a great passing move and we didn’t look back from there.
Agree with this. We were really patient in the first half, there just seems to be such a belief within the players and coaching staff in what they want to do and how they want to play. All of the players seem comfortable with the ball at their feet now.
do you think with the big K sadly being out that it takes that option off the table so makes us play on the ground where we are very comfortable?
