Can you ask her a question please. I have a loose tooth(molar) It's cracked about 80% around the top & very loose, I have no pain or sensitivity. Should I rag it art or wait to see a dentist? TIA
Will do. Do you think you can get it out yourself? Personally I'd phone my dentist before doing anything myself.
Something I heard recently - dentists don't 'pull' teeth out, they actually put a lot of pressure on them to push them in, and that makes them pop out. Like when a really tight screw comes out easier if you tighten it quarter of a turn before loosening.
I can't imagine anybody with a modicum of medical expertise recommending someone to remove their own tooth. Me on the other hand, I'm an ex-apprentice brickie armed with a sadistic streak and 4Lb lump hammer if you're up for it.
Kids TV programmes are a bad influence, as this is how I thought all teeth were removed until I was about 12. I'd had 5 teeth removed by then as well.
Expensive. Leeds Teaching Hospitals would let students do it for free. Sadly no more, no more, no Bobby Moore.
I'd avoid an infection at all costs. I had an infected tooth a few years ago and I've never experienced pain like it. The whole right hand side of my face was on fire, from my forehead to my chin, and all the way to the tip of my tongue. Painkillers barely made a dent in it, only sipping cold water offered any relief. Had it pulled after antibiotics failed.
If you don't mind me asking how many kids have you got Helen? For some reason every time you mention a child I seem to add an extra one into your family. So far you've got 4 sons and 12 daughters. If it makes you feel any better fired had 26 daughters in my head and they all play football
