    Why is it Premier League games never get abandoned for the weather? Is it a different kind of rain that falls on those grounds?

    They have more money so invest in better pitches with better drainage

    I remember going on a supporters bus to Newport many, many years ago, and the game was called off just as we arrived at the ground.
    The team bus passing us in the opposite direction was a bit of a giveaway.
    Anyway we had a good session in Chepstow as a second prize !

    I was on that bus....lol ....it was me who shouted out that id seen the team bus going past.....if memory serves me right the newport pitch was about a good foot under water if not more....happy days
