    if ever we needed a death penalty this is it. They will get a lengthy jail sentence, will be fed and kept by the state. Do gooders will tell us to council them and try to understand them. If an animal attacks a person ... no messing they are put down, the animal has probably acted in some instinctive way. This bastad who has killed Alfie has acted in twisted pre meditated way. Sorry people but an injection of lead from a high powered gun should be applied to both of them, it would also be massively cheaper for the nation too.

    He’s pleaded guilty (eventually) and daddy will have friends in the right places.

    I wouldn’t be so sure he’ll get a sentence befitting what he’s done.

    I’m not even sure one exists, what sentence is right for crushing a bairn to death? They won’t give him life. I’d be amazed if he was sentenced to much more than 12 years.

    In any case he’ll be out in well under 10 years I’ll predict.

    to me this is just undefendable. Mad Dogs like this should be sent to room 101 and terminated simple as that. I am aware of mental illnesses, but in no way can I see nothing but a pair of evil people... as evil as the Moor's murderers.

    If we had the Death Penalty any juror opposed to it would find the defendant Not Guilty and a guilty person may get off scot-free if 2/3 jurors are of that view.
    There are a lot of people opposed to the Death Penalty.

    And rightfully so. There is no compelling justification for the death penalty other than vengeance, which for me has no place in a modern justice system.

    I know what you are saying. The death penalty in the past was very flawed to say the least. Its been shown that a good many were sentenced wrongly. But todays modern methods make wrong decisions extremely minimal. This case is what I would call an open and shut case. Sorry RT this guy and his partner are IMHO totally worthy of being terminated.
