    People like Nixon have some kind of complex. Makes me think he didn't get enough attention as a child. I wish him no ill will, but there must be a reason for it.

    Me too but you can’t control that. Also he strikes me as being quite loyal. I’ve turned down offers in my career for more short term gain, because I saw a longer term plan. Sure plenty of others are the same.

    Alan's not even in the top 5 Nixons for accurate football stories! Richard Millhous, David the deceased magician, Paul the former wicket keeper, Agnes the scriptwriter and ex 'The Bill' character DS Sam Nixon are all less inaccurate with their transfer predictions than the portly Wigan based wnak-peddler.

    Can't really see Hudds interesting him but i do think he's destined for the prem' big 5 even ( big call i know) and no doubt he sees us as a career stepping stone on his way to the prem and we should enjoy him while we have him' one scenario i can invisage is Pep doing the treble then leaving' kompany taking the City hotseat and Burnley being interested in Duff' to be honest though with an opportunity like that he should go with our blessing.
