Would be absolutely class, if he didn't have a touch like a bulldozer.

I like him. He's very raw, but he's got a lot of potential.

He's got all the physical attributes, things like touch can be trained.

That's why he's not been starting. Still, he's doing a job so deserves his chance.

Our other strikers would be attracting premiership interest if the didnt shoot wide or over at every opportunity

Agree. I also think he makes us look much better as a front three. Just needs to be a touch sharper.

Guess I'll bow to your superior knowledge :rolleyes::rolleyes:

You clearly know more than the manager as well, maybe you should have applied.

What did you think of Toney and Armstrong when they were at Oakwell?

    Just out of interest!

He looked sharp, until their defenders realised they could easily get the ball off of him

He's got a lot to learn to stand any chance of making it at this level. I think his goal the other week has blinded judgement.

Give the lad a chance ffs his 1st start. Yes he’s raw, touch not the best but he’s done more that half than anyone else who’s been starting. He’ll get better with more game time.

I thought he did well. Pity about that first touch though. Contrary to another poster, I don't think that's something that can be coached.

I was excited when he got into the team at the beginning of our season in league one. To be honest he doesn’t look to have progressed from that, at some point you have to say that potential is never going to turn into tangible.

You learn how to control a football at a much younger age. Every ball up to him just bounces off.

Definitely impressed more that any of Thomas, Frieser or Chaplin in recent weeks

Has caused them problems that's for sure
