To be far Huddersfield did dominate is for the first 45 minutes.

But that's not because of the formation it's because we weren't at it.

I saw a very similar performance in the first half against Walsall away in the league last season.

If it weren't for missed chances and individual defensive mistakes we'd have won both those games. Definitely Ipswich we we dominated for large periods.

We also changed to 4-5-1 against Huddersfield to take the draw and we lost grip on the game.

Yet had Payne scored from his chance, that formation change would have looked like a stroke of genius.

We was unlucky to lose to Huddersfield , Ipswich score flattered them and could easy have been a draw , think we will get at least a point at Brighton , and can't see any team dominating or destroying us way we are playing

We have 3 games in 7 days when we come back, 2 of them away games. We then have the same again a week later, a long & tough trip to Brighton, followed by a massive home game vs Villa, finished off with a big derby at Leeds!! So keeping strikers fresh will be massive as we can then press teams from the front for the full 90!!!

All 4/5 of our top strikers will get plenty of game time, and lets not forget, sometimes one or two of them with have an injury/suspension!!

Genuine question - do you not think that we've improved since Ipswich ?

There are teams in this league with a budget many times the total of the fees we've received for Mawson and Stones - over a 46 game season they are going to out perform us (or should) - it's not being particularly intuitive to suggest that against wealthier, established Championship sides we may struggle. We'll struggle even more if we start trying to pick a team to combat one aspect of a particular teams capabilities.

I like the idea we've got real options up front now. All the lads have their own strengths that they bring to the team. We've made a good start to the season, probably better than most fans would've expected. If that means Armstrong may have to start his Barnsley career from the bench, so be it.

Is there any more room on his dartboard alongside Hassell, Steele, Winnall, Roberts and Conor. I'm sure I've probably missed some too.

A good indicator to the budget disparity is the fact that Adam Armstrong is on £20000 a week at Newcastle. I have that on good authority from a close member of his family.

I can believe that considering that he has recently signed a 4 year deal.

He's going to need a second dartboard.

Not wanting to get involved in the mud slinging but I thought Poulter was excellent against us in the second half.

Same here. I though it was a good old fashioned tussle with Poulter. Knocks and scrapes but up on your feet and no hard feelings.

Poulter did well for a period in the 2nd half because he was coming deep, he couldn't impact the game in the final third.

It wasn't for a long time though as Hecky spotted the danger & put Sessi on who stopped him coming deep to win headers
