Rumours he will be loaned out with Rafa still in the market for another striker. Preston & Rotherham the frontrunners at the moment.

Would be ideal on a season loan imo. Very pacey, 5ft 8, & scored 20 goals in League 1 last season. Would be a dream with Marley/Bradshaw up top.

Reckon we'd have a decent chance of beating off competition too.

Can't see him wanting to come here being probably a bench warmer will he? I wouldn't personally put him ahead of Bradshaw/Watkins atm because there's no reason in changing a winning side. And I always like Payne's little cameos and think he deserves to keep coming on. And it'll be even harder for him to get a game when Winnall is back.

Agree with this we have 6 senior strikers atm and I doubt that we need any more unless it is someone like Fletcher who we know is quality and will improve the 1st team

Id only be looking to add a striker if Fletcher became available. Good as Armstrong was at the beginning of last season, he didnt get too many second half of the season.

Wether it's Fletcher or not we still need a striker.

Take away Marley we have zero pace upfront.

Take away Marley and we have none? I think if you include Marley, we still have none.

Marley is quick. Covers a lot of ground up top and finds it easy to press.

He's not slow, but I wouldn't call him quick either.

Still we both agree we need pace upfront.

We do. Ideally Fletcher. He has some physical presence as well as pace.

    Yes he's the perfect striker.

I agree we probably do need a striker with more pace, however I still don't think he'd come here to sit on bench, neither would Newcastle

Just wondering what role of our strikers will play in this season

I'm assuming Winnall, Watkins, Bradshaw and Payne will be our main 4. Lee will be used as a utility player on the bench who can play both up front and on the wing, which leaves Tuton lookign surplus to requirements especially if we bring another one in

We need a bigger physical presence with pace against the giant CBs in the Champ. Armstrong not for me.
