Good read that thanks for posting .
It’s great to see what’s happening at Stanley and for me more should be done by FA and EFL to help them .
They are vital to the community imo I would hate it if Barnsley hadn’t a decent sporting arena competing nationally at something or other.
Towns like Accy,Burton and Barnsley would lose their identity in the sporting world to such as Bolton , Burnley , Derby and Sheffield or Leeds .
I’m glad the EFL are holding out to the greed pack and money should be ploughed back into helping community clubs .
People like Coleman should be commended as well he could easily have gone elsewhere for more money and players coming because of the envroment and challenges rather than who’s paying most .
Glad we’ve played out part in swelling their much needed coffers and our decent fans outnumbered the knuckle draggers.
Maybe be well see it one day where the PL ,FA etc dictate that a decent percentage of money generated should go to other than the big six and players shouldn’t be quoting Monopoly money to their agents whilst their fellow professionals scrap for the rest.
Good luck to Stanley hope we draw them away in the latter stages of the cup and beat their attendance record again .
