A Modern Masterpiece?

    I have always loved Sufjan Stevens, though I haven't done a deep-dive into his work, so was *delighted* to recently discover this modern masterpiece, from an EP from 2010 called All Delighted People. Some things pass you by and you discover them later, a welcome retrospective.

    I would argue it's my generation's A Day in the Life, it's that good. I accept music is wholly subjective, but I would challenge anyone not to be moved by this. It is almost 12 minutes long; it meanders and mutates, it is a joy; it is worth the investment imo. A very talented artist. It also borrows from The Sound of Silence (permitted by Paul Simon). It's an example of beauty in these days of hate and division. This may sink like a stone from the front page of the BBS, but if one person hears it then I'll be content:
