Possibly the best we.ve played for a while especially second half.The defence played well I thought Gardner had his best game for us while Mallen showed there is a player who will show more with a run in the team Yids back to his best a contender for man of the match.Although Pinnock handled Hugill very well hes the sort of player I would like to see us try and sign.By the way the Preston fans call Hugill "Village Idiot" "big,thick and strong".I didn't think Williams was at his best today but he;s young and I'm sure he'll be back to his best soon.
Gardner was a different player. Best game for us by so me distance. If he can keep that up and Mallan improves with games we might have the makings of a decent midfield. I also thought Hammill had his best game for some time. Pinnock also very good.
