Can see some clubs starting to publish their accounts for last season, seems like only 5 minutes that our accounts for the previous season and the 750k-gate were published.

Norwich just posted, with a hefty operating loss, turned into profit from player sales. When is the deadline for publishing, will assume we'll be one of the last to publish again.

9 months sounds a long time. Is that the normal timescale? I have a vague idea that there was some kind of Covid related extension... but I may have got that wrong.
When I worked in local Gov, the deadlines were a lot shorter than that (3 months to finalise the accounts, 3 months for the auditors to inspect and sign them off).

That's normal. The filing deadline was extended to 12 months during Covid.

Yes, 9 months is the norm. Also not unusual for filing to be right on the brink either.

Quite often done deliberately by private companies as it keeps information out of the public domain for as long as possible.

I should have mentioned in the original reply that these deadlines apply to private companies. Public companies (i.e. plc's, rather than limited companies) have a shorter filing deadline of 6 months.
