I’ve seen a few and at this level it probably is. Not as bad as the Iley but that was a different time and a different league

Not sure too much is down to the Manager - Sir Alex Fergie would struggle to overcome the lack of depth and experience in our squad - no one we are likely to appoint is likely to make us competative enough unless we change our policy in January - and by then it might be too late

Dont remember that one but I do remember some pretty dire teams in the early '70s - The side under McSeveney being particularly noteable for its ineptitude - so poor that even the Iley sides were an improvement
Well I’ve done 35 years and it’s the worst I’ve seen. And that will be borne out by the longest run without a win during that time span and the lowest points total.

Arguably the worst 2nd tier side we have had in my lifetime though the side that went down under Parkin wasnt very good either had worse in the 3rd and 4th tiers though Still think there is potential in quite a few of the players but dont see where the stability is coming from - if they are kept together ( they wont be ) they could improve as the season progresses but as I said earlier without some significant change in January we will be back down again. And the change in Jan is likely to be selling Woodrow and Mowatt not adding experience
In my thirty years I would say it's the worst squad we have had. At least at this level I don't think that point can be argued. Bring back our admin squad that showed much more fight and passion.
The trouble with an outsider is that he has to learn what the players can and can't do...again. We haven't that luxury.
Certainly the worst squad we've had in the second tier, the parkin season squad was far better than this and they were chuffing awful
