Barnsley Football Club and technical partner Oxen are proud to reveal the striking limited edition third kit for the 2025/26 campaign.

Once again, in collaboration with global fashion platform VFILES and Club Director Julie Anne Quay, the Club has created a design that blends heritage with innovation. The kit features a bold black base with elegant gold pinstripes and the much-loved Toby Tyke crest — a look that symbolises strength, pride, and the fearless identity of the Reds.

Julie Anne Quay said, "The third kit is an updated version of a previous fan favourite black and gold Toby Tyke shirt from a couple of seasons ago. Each shirt this season is distinctly different from the other. The red traditional home shirt, the white Kestrel away shirt and now the black and gold pinstriped third shirt. Of all the shirts, this one translates perfectly from the pitch to the office. Everyone is going to look amazing in this one. I can’t wait to see it on the pitch. Toby Tyke has proudly embodied the spirit of Barnsley Football Club for decades now – inspiring us with his grit, loyalty and toughness. We are proud to have Toby as the hero of our third kit this season."

Rapid Response Telecoms take pride of place once again as front-of-shirt partner, with Weston Park’s logo proudly featuring on the sleeve and long-term partner Parliament continuing their backing on the reverse of the shirt.

Dominic Wood, Managing Director of Rapid Response Telecoms, added, "We’re incredibly proud to see our name on this fantastic new Barnsley FC third kit. The design is bold and confident, which perfectly mirrors the way the team and its supporters approach every challenge. As a limited edition release, it’s something truly unique - and we’re proud to be involved in what could become an iconic shirt for an iconic season.”

The limited edition 2025/26 Third Kit is available to purchase in-store and online.

When talking about kit, why do they only show the shirt?

It looks alright, the shirt. Can’t stand the crest but that’s a personal thing. I long advocated for the ‘Oakwell’ version but I’m not a global fashionista.

And again, I’m not the target audience. I have a shirt from the 80s only. And I don’t wear it. It’s just a keepsake that I’m meaning to frame for the man cave.

Opening the link. limited edition. Most almost gone. Inc socks and shorts. Mens not shown. Maybe sold out. ? Wonder if they'll re-order. Or have they put all their eggs in one basket. Fanatics possibly not willing to take a risk of over supply. Like last season. ?

Don't understand what they mean by limited edition. Have only a small number been made?

It's ok. It's not as daft as the kestrel and sweat stain kits.

Must say after a couple of seasons, I'd definitely prefer someone else in charge of kit design.

Mid-late 90s we had some cracking kits. So good there's been a good deal of mimicry to designs since.

It all feels a bit naff and cliched of late.

Love the shirt, haven’t had one for a couple of seasons, logged in on my lunch to order and there aren’t any… unless I’m a child or a woman size fourteen or under.

How many did they make? Twenty?

If you launch something at nine am on a working day and it’s sold out in three hours, you haven’t made enough.

I've just got mine from the club shop, they seemed to have plenty in.
And yes, it's a thing of beauty.

Poor showing yet again. We change suppliers and same issues happen.

No kit released at 9 am this morning should be already unavailable online in all adult sizes.

Never quite got the fascination with the 90s kits tbh. As designs I personally think most of them are bang average at best. I do wonder if the love for them is more to do with the era of football, than the actual quality of the shirt design.
