    I’m pretty sure if a player is released after deadline he can’t be signed by a team who’s leagues deadline has passed. Just speaking in general I wouldn’t want him

    Then why would he be happy to be released if he can't play for another team for three months.

    He would have been better off staying where he was. He probably still wouldn't play but he'd stay fitter training properly and if they get a few injuries up front ya never know.

    Especially when we could bring in Steven Fletcher...We've brought in a freebie attacker that's played for the red side of Sheffield, so why not the blue....Did pretty well last season at this level.

    So he can join another team probably bud, he will be able to train and play in reserves etc, gives him a chance to showcase himself outside of official matches. Does make you wonder if something bad happened for him to be released so soon after window shut.

    He was the one that was getting annoyed with Huddersfield fans last season in the warm up he kept missing and then when he actually finished a shot they ironically cheered and he was well pissed off. Think that tells you all need to know really.
