I suspect he had some influence on Labour MP's turning against Corbyn in 2018/19. He certainly rejected Corbyn on election night, effectively endorsing Johnson. Horrible bloke.
Resignation material, surely. You can't be in his position where judgment is everything whilst showing absolutely none of it. ...
The strange thing to me is that I wouldn't have thought the market Epstein was in would be up Mandelson's Street.
I can’t believe it’s taken until now for this to become big news. I was flabbergasted that he was made our ambassador to the US. How Starmer got away with that I’ll never know. I posted on here at the time that at best Mandelson was comfortable socialising with a known peadophile & at worst he was involved. It was always a ticking time bomb for Starmer.
He did. He was often invited on mainstream tv to bash Corbyn while his links to Epstein were regularly trending on social media & none of the presenters thought it was relevant to ask him about his friend.
I remember seeing a photo of Mandelson, Margaret Hodge & Tom Watson out campaigning for the Labour candidate who stood against Corbyn when he stood as an independent & at that point I realised Corbyn would win.
Boris Johnson was at university with Ghislaine Maxwell and knew her. Mandelson is a slimy operator - and is probably in his job because of his previous relationships with Trump and Epstein. If he is implicated in wrongdoing then he deserves the strongest possible punishment - although as others have said young girls aren't his type - but so do Trump, Clinton, Pope John Paul and Prince Andrew and everyone involved.
You make some good points here. However, my view is on balance that the current government is getting more things right than wrong.
What another mess from this government. I had high hopes when they came in that they would at least be competent after years of Tory scandals.
