Shifting out the deadwood has been excellent. You have no idea the amounts we turned down for key players, but considering our debts, well done to the board for doing so. You often criticise their lack of ambition so I'm not sure why you aren't praising them for this, just like their attempt when we kept Cole, Cadden, Kane and Williams at the risk of losing them 6 months later. We've fetched in some good young talent, long term, and sprinkled some experience on top - exactly what majority on here have been crying out for for years.
Im talking about Mladen specifically, who I don’t rate & haven’t seen anything to suggest he’s any good. He’s just a puppet to be fair. I will say it makes a refreshing change to somehow hang onto our better players, so yes from that perspective it is positive, but I don’t put that down to Mladen.
I think it makes us the same as all football fans. If our benefactors choose to no longer support the club financially, we are in a hole. Given the statements from Neerav at the end of last season I thought it signalled a change of policy and the likely sale of the saleable players. it looks like they have decided to fund another year which means we can enjoy being competitive in league one.
Conor is in charge now Mcgoldrick was done off books Rooney was due to the derby link Conor had done a lot of research on Vickers due to being impressed when he played us Tennai was reccomended by someone Conor trusted as was Ogbeta he made suggestions to Mladen and Mladen basically said they are affordable or they are not that’s only thing that Conor didn’t control
4 in the last week 2 for DKD one for Phillips One double deal for both of them for 6 million was rejected as well
5 bids rejected for Connell from wycombe too highest reached 1.5 million we told them we wanted 2.5 and a decent sell on and they never came back again
