    Airports have their own security, Aviation Police are specially armed units as airports are considered high risk Just look at any Police Officers you see at airports most of them have at least a side arm

    There is something about that whole situation that feels orchestrated. He was arriving in London to go on trial for harassment and a physical altercation with an 17 year old trans activist and this suddenly happens over tweets he made months ago?

    Considering, back before he completely lost his mind on trans issues (not making light of genuine concerns about this but he is a psycho on this subject), his tweets on legal and social issues were often carefully thought out and extremely detailed without crossing any lines that would allow anyone to sue him. I can't help but suspect he made these tweets, and avoided returning to the UK until the day before his trial, with exactly this outcome in mind. The tweets at first glance don't seem that bad, just obnoxious and horrible, but they just go far enough to trigger the online abuse laws.. just. And suddenly on the week of his trial for actual abuse he is garnering a great deal of sympathy and appearing a victim... and hardly anyone is talking about his harassment campaign against a teenager.

    He's an utter lovely person but he knows how to play the game.

    Have I missed something? The tweets I've seen are all in jest/weak. Nothing dangerous or such. Has he sent multiple different tweets? Ive only seen 3 and all are pathetic to be arrested over, if that is what he's actually been arrested for. Very slippery slope in regards to abuse laws. Is calling someone fat abuse? If so, is calling someone skinny abuse? How does one know if it's in jest or not if it doesn't directly call to action? What about ugly? Completely subjective

    AFAIK Linehan is the only one who has claimed which tweets he was arrested for. To me the only one that comes close to breaching the law was the one calling for violence. I guess it's possible there were others.But officially the police have not even named him. Just confirmed a man was arrested under suspicion of inciting violence.

    Is the one calling for violence about punching them in the balls? If so, we have to be very very careful. Yes, its same old tired tropes, boring, repetitive, dull, but clearly made as a joke and jab.
    It does surprise me though, feels almost too good to be true if you're on that side. 5 armed cops turning up to arrest a man for jokes on the Internet? Ring wingers would be frothing at the mount sharing that around.
