    I believe it was two democrats and two republicans who took part in the initial filibuster. They later joined all republicans in a vote against. But manchin and the other (i forget her name) actually consistently vote with republicans on issues.

    FBI are searching Trumps former advisor, John Bolton's house. No doubt under the instruction of Trump given Bolton's ongoing criticisms of the thin orange skinned one.

    To add to his thin skinnedness, Trump is doing a media bit while wearing a hat that has stitched on it "TRUMP WAS RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING!"

    What an odious **** that man is.

    He’s an absolute disgrace. America should count themselves lucky that he was too busy being a gangster wannabe, going bust, ripping people off & being a sexual predator before he decided to enter politics and brainwash half of the country into thinking he was sent by god.

    Imagine 3 or 4 decades of what’s currently occurring in America, plus the influence it has on some our own population.

    I see Ghislaine Maxwell has said she never saw Trump being inappropriate.

    I'm sure that has absolutely nothing to do with her recent transfer to a minimum security prison.

    So after sacking the previous head of the CDC, the new one doesn't seem to be playing ball and ridiculously basing her policies and activity on actual science. So they've tried sacking her. But given it's a senate pick, only the president can do that. Which oddly, he isn't doing. And now she's suing the administration.

    In the last few days we've also had an executive order to make it a criminal offence to burn the star spangled banner, the covid vaccine has been scrapped for emergency cases and the "police"... or men wearing face masks (not covid... because obviously... that was never a thing) carry on seizing anyone who looks latino (generally grabbing them out of their cars) and threatening to deport them.

    Hopefully not coming to a constituency near you.

    Just been reading that Britain's top sports car maker, Lotus, is set to sack half its workforce, 550 jobs. The manufacturer blamed the US President Donald Trump and his tariff hikes for the decision, after the Brexit debacle.
