There is a deal of talk that our (British/English) culture is being jeopardised by immigration, hence one of the justifications for the proliferation of flags. Do these 'patriots' appreciate that flags are not part of our culture, that's why we have legislation reregarding things like public buildings and private property. It wasn't part of German culture until the 1930s. It has always been the USA's culture, so much so their National anthem is about their flag. Our National anthem is about the Monarchy. Our allegiance is to 'King & Country', as is our culture, as a constitutional monarchy and not a republic. That is why our armed forces are the Monarch's not the government's or the peoples. It is not our culture and never has been to show allegiance to flags. I repeat what I put in an earlier post the current flag allegiance is not patriotism it is jingoism. Trump got one thing right when he said "I love the uneducated".

And to add to the grimness, Badenoch and Jenrick are marching to the goosestep march. Decrying Labour for putting "illegal migrants first". Obviously ignoring that a court of law has ruled on points of law and that a more junior judge failed to apply law properly, hence the Epping case being overturned.

You'd think Badenoch would at least have some version of antennae for what's going on. It was only last week she complained about facing increasing levels of racism. Yet hear she is, trying to stoke it. surely she knows the bleeding obvious, that white racists are never ever going to vote for a black person. Yet she's playing that game. Head stuck deeper than in sand.

As for Jenrick. Shocking such a person could ever be remotely close to a position of leadership. A man who believes in nothing, only to further his own escalation in the ranks of power. Do anything, say anything.

Hugely worrying times. The racists are in the open. Anyone not a racist will be a target. This isn't going to be pretty.

Don't forget Braverman, taking selfies while standing shoulder to shoulder with protesters outside a hotel that SHE was responsible for being filled with asylum seekers in the 1st place!

You're being too kind to Jenrick. He's an absolute cunt.

Just seen this on Facebook. Look at the reply - and the amount of ‘likes’ it attracts. Not surprised but still disappointing to read such stuff.
