    She bought it with her own money? What’s the scandal here? If she’d been gifted it from someone wanting to bribe her, or paid used taxpayer’s money, or stole it, or did something drastic to reduce the house value before putting a bid in then it might be interesting but is the story really ‘person buys a house?’

    Absolutely nothing. Redrum has fallen hook line and sinker for the Daily Mail/Daily Telegraph narrative as have millions of others that lack critical thinking skills.
    The billionaires are sitting comfortably. They push their culture war agendas to deflect attention from themselves and exercise control over the masses to make them believe that their lives are **** due to the only class that they’re encouraged to believe is beneath them.

    Having said that I don't think there should be second home owners, it pushes prices up for locals.
