Just highlights Earl at his worst. And the fine margins had McGoldrick put away that sitter to go 1 nil up would it have been a different result?
Could’ve drove a double decker bus between our centre halves for the second. The first is just a complete shambles.
Terrible defender. His ball for Ogbeta for McGoldrick’s miss was top notch though. That’s his main strength, his passing. Probably his only strength…..
Earl is like putting Callum Styles at CB. That save from Bishop though, won't see many better saves than that in Tier 3!
Shepherd got done so, so easily in the lead up to their first goal - Cooper saved us temporarily - then Earl showed the heart/strength of a pea for the goal. Shepherd got done extremely easily for the second too. Basically, our defence is going to cripple our chances again this season. Yes we should've scored a couple ourselves but its not always going to happen, so the defence need to step up - which they don't look capable of doing.
and even his passing is hit and miss, quite literally. I’ve lost count of how many times in games he passes straight to the opposition
Never thought I’d say this but missing MDG, even he doesn’t give the ball straight to opposition like Shepherd does
Do Bradford still want shepard? Interesting how earls getting all the hammer but Shep was far too weak for the 1st.
The ball in took a wicked deflection and put it just behind Earl, so hardly his fault. Think Earl would have put it out for a corner had it not deflected. We just didn't our chances when we had them.
Think Earl getting some grief when not totally alone in apportioning some form of blame, both Kelly and Ogbeta stood off and allowed the cross to come in too easy really - gets a lucky deflection off the Wimbledon players back and neither shepherd or cooper react at all.
Yoganathan got done easily for the second too, it was screaming for him to take a yellow for the team
Thought the same at the time but having just been sent off I am wondering if that's why he hesitated.
