Could be back in the local area Saturday.

While doing the matchday prep for the game I noticed a certain Adam Hammill came on as a sub for Maghull who we’ve got in the Fa Vase.
So if you’re at a loose end and fancy possibly watching a reds legend play come on down

    Frickley V Maghull
    3pm
    Adults £7
    Concessions £5
    Kids £3

According to Maghull's website it's all ticket. This may just be for away fans but it doesn't say anything on Frickley's website.

    Just taken a look. Frickey 1 - 5 Maghull

There's a reason why I haven't been to Frickley for years even though it's a 10 minute walk from my house. Shame really, I remember when they were top end of the conference (Alliance Premier League) when I was a kid.

Hammill on as a sub on 75' apparently.

Hammill came on for last ten and scored direct from a corner. What a player

I prefer to think of it as a Hamill special direct from the corner. You can't help but wish we had someone like him right now!

Which is a shame really! Yeah they were a very good non league side many years ago but were a club that lives within its means and never put the clubs future at risk. We don’t have a financial backer chucking a ton of cash about like a lot of clubs and we certainly don’t pay in brown envelopes! what comes in goes out.

Lots of hard work and positive things go off at the club and in the village with the community foundation. Yeah we aren’t the best at the moment but we’re sustainable and local folk like you coming to watch spending £10/15 for an afternoons football means the world.

drop me a DM and you can come up as my guest and I’ll show you the good things what go on at the club.
