After seeing that interview. I think Potter is an excellent manager when no one gives a fck. That sounds terrible but when you lose you don't want to hear row, row your boat or coombaya. Great at Brighton...Hands up who gives a crap about Brighton? Chelsea... Absolute coupon buster. West Ham. Give him some elbow pads and make him a Geography teacher. Do all that. He's a nice bloke that deserves treating with dignity and respect because he's a spiffing chap and a bloody nice bloke.
I noticed that too - what's that all about then? They've got about 80 players in their squad, but they've picked two keepers on the bench?
I like Graham Potter. He seems a thoroughly decent bloke. The problem is that people are too quick to attribute Brighton's success to the manager when the majority of the credit should actually go to Tony Bloom and the recruitment team. They are absolutely incredible at player recruitment, the best in England and it's not even close.
Potter will carry the can, and shoulder the blame, but those players especially that defence, should be looking in the mirror, this morning and holding their heads in shame, not a leader amongst them, hearts the size of peas. Thought he handled the after match interview magnanimously towards the enemy within. The players, who are letting him down alarmingly
An excellent manager but I don’t think it was ever a good fit at the Hammers. I have always associated them with flair players and attacking football. Moyesy is not that and so he always had a short shelf life there I think.
