Just back. Wow what a gig. Appreciate not everyone's cup of tea but they do put on a great show. 9/10. Shame about getting away post gig, right shambles. Must use same car park operators as at Oakwell

Bit of a random location I thought at the time they announced it.
From the clips online it looks like they were brilliant as ever!
Id argue the best live act in the world today, & that shows given the demand for tickets all over the world.
I’ve seen them 3 times & each time they just got better & better!

I’ve been to KR numerous times and it is an absolute shocker to get away from. The whole area does not suit a decent sized event, even including rugby league.

I’ve never seen them, but their catalogue of melancholy songs don’t really scream best live act. So why would you say they are the best? I’m genuinely curious?

Calendar last night must have spent about 20 minutes going on and on and on about it ...
"And now back to Kerry who's got the latest on the types of clouds that are over the stadium. Kerry, what colour are they?"
"This is the biggest event to happen in Hull since city of culture year and when the Luftwaffe bombed it in 1940. Tell us in as much detail as possible what kind of sausages are available inside the stadium."
"What's the atmosphere like 4 hours before the show begins?"

You should get to more concerts if you think they are the best in the world.
Their music is bland and boring if they played in my back garden I,d shut the curtains.

I was there last night. Went with the wife, daughter and her mate.

Not my music by any stretch but they put on one heck of a show.

In terms of getting away from Craven Park, we were back home for 11.40 after staying to the end and dropping off the daughter’s mate. Straight out after parking on a street about 1/2 a mile away.

Would I go back to see Coldplay? Nah? But glad I’ve seen them at least once.

I go to plenty of concerts. All sorts of genres, & nothing comes close.
Im not saying they are the best band in the world in terms of musical output, they’ve had a career spanning over 2 decades & they have put out some good stuff but also some duds depending on what you like. But one thing they are the best at imo is writing songs that work well on the live stage.

We should have done that tbh. Went into a school car-park, paid £25 for the privilege. Back at car at 2245, out car park 0010 back in Leeds at 0130. Shambles, looked like a load of kids with high vis jackets on who didn't have a clue what they were doing just getting in the way. Just didn't want to risk not getting parked anywhere so went official. Never again.

Do you have to be so miserable?

Someone comes on & says how great of a time they had somewhere & your first response is to how **** it is?

Just ignore if you’ve nothing positive to say.
