Can’t see many more than 6k home fans…..hope I’m wrong. A tenner a ticket might’ve brought in a few more.
On sale now and quite a few sold already. With our league form, it being £15 and a local derby it should sell really well. The negative being the west stand being closed as some who sit in there won't want to sit somewhere else and if our two stands sell well and they end up with singles all over the map people won't go at short notice.
Well, given it looks like we're not playing a 2nd XI line up as in previous years I think the club deserve some support from the fans, I'm going.
First few rounds of the league cup haven't attracted decent crowds for years. Many teams chop and change their line ups - lot don't want to pay to see reserve teams and kids
https://www.themillers.co.uk/news/2025/august/18/barnsley--a--ticket-details--carabao-cup-/ They asked for 2,237 tickets and you can buy 5 per person. We should be really getting close to a five figure attendance but we won't.
Agreed. I’m not sure what people want / expect. £18 for a night at the footy with the boy, against a local rival. And like you say, potential big draw in the next round to play for. What’s not to like?
I don't usually make midweeks but think I'll go this. Wouldn't suprise me if the crowd was close to 10k
Just topped 10k v Blunts last season and they brought 5k. So be nowhere near 5 figures against Rovrum..
The lads kindly slipped in another game for when I'm over, even though they left it late, so I'll be at the Rotherham and Huddersfield games. Yeh!!!
