    • Barnsley Vs. Rotherham United - Tue, Aug 26 2025, 19:45
We can confirm our Carabao Cup Second Round tie against Rotherham United will take place on Tuesday 26th August at Oakwell, kicking off at 7:45pm.

The Reds will host the Millers in the second round of the competition following a first round victory on penalties against Fleetwood Town at Oakwell on penalties on 13 August.

Rotherham overcame Salford City in Greater Manchester last week, also requiring a penalty shootout, to set up an all-South Yorkshire affair at Oakwell.

    Ticket Prices

    Adults: £15.00

    Senior 65+: £10.00

    Young adult 19-21: £10.00

    Under 19: £5.00

    Under 14: £3.00

Tickets will go on sale to 2025/26 season ticket holders and lottery members from 10am Monday 18th August before going on general sale at 10am on Tuesday 19th August.

For this fixture, we will only have the BAPP for Bolts Norman Rimmington Stand, Rapid Response East Upper and Lower Stand open along with the Palmers Construction Family area. Due to the short selling period for this fixture, tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis during each sales period.

When tickets go on sale, supporters can purchase tickets online, over the phone at 01226 211183, or by visiting our Box Office at Oakwell.

The postage deadline for tickets for this tie is 2pm Thursday 21st August.

BAPP for Bolts Norman Rimmington Stand car parking is also available for this fixture at a cost of £5. The car park closes 30 minutes before kick-off so any supporters buying car parking will need to be on site by this time. If supporters have purchased a seasonal car parking pass, this will be activated for this fixture.

Thank you for your fantastic support.

It’s mad doing an announcement at 9pm Sunday that they’re on sale 10am Monday morning to ST holders. Not that I’m expecting a mad rush but it doesn’t give much time for people to see the announcement.
