RIP Gino, never knew him, but used to see him plenty. Wonder if that’s why the Manx pub had a Royal Antwerp flag out yesterday.
Good lad was Gino. Travelled from Belgium to watch the reds for 30+ years. Had the pleasure of going to a few Antwerp games with him very passionate fan of the Tykes and the great old. Will be missed.
Real nice bloke Gino, saw him at a wedding a few months ago and it was nice to see him…….like Chop says, a very passionate fan. RIP

Brought a bit of a smile to my face reading the article about the fervent Antwerp supporter who is actually wearing a Barnsley polo shirt but that was Gino. He loved the reds but was a die hard Antwerp fan even in the years when they dropped out of the top tier in Belgium.
Sad news. Didn't know we had an Antwerp contingent. Been there a few times and it's a great city. Off again there this Thursday for a long weekend.
Sad news I spent many hours in his company both at games but also at New year when him and Kirt came over with thier wives.RIP Gino
