Rather be playing them with us Donny and Bradford Huddersfield or Rotherham to be fair but I get your point
As long as there's prolonged pain for the cheating, over-spending, egotists I'm comfortable with that at the moment
Wednesday and United have the same complete absence of points, the same highly negative goal difference, and the same meagre number of goals (just 1) scored. But on the BBC website United are bottom. Surely Wednesday should be bottom alphabetically, or because they've had a red card? I'd like to find out why this evening, otherwise I'll not sleep.
I noticed some disparities after our first game, so I checked several sites. Some had us 2nd, correctly, but others 3rd. All stats were equal, so the only deciding factor was alphabetic order. I'm not sure why some sites can't get this correct.
We had a worse disciplinary record so we should have been placed lower. It goes: Points Goal Difference Most goals scored Head to Head results (in order of points, goal difference, goals scored) Number of wins Away goals Disciplinary records (lowest number of penalty points - see table below) Lowest number of sending offs Play a play off deciding match For the purposes of displaying a table mid season alphabetical would probably also be used before the play off deciding match but that’s not an official way to decide the position.
Other things you love to see. That defender who had a nightmare and get subbed at half time after getting Shepherd booked after being held down got sent off for a 2nd yellow today for what looks a blatant pen but the ref booked him for diving. https://x.com/plymrrf/status/1956745385940045847?s=46&t=trUrLWLsldTn2T7z_vrQBw
What's the got to do with anything? You comment on premier league teams all the time. Should my response be 'Well I can't say I wouldn't love to be in the premier league'?
