Good luck to em. Hard for me to be jealous when our only big successes (FA Cup, Promotion to top division) were all accomplished against the odds. Honestly would prefer any future success we have to be achieved by modest means and hard work again not a rich sugar daddy.

We reached an FA Cup semi final, beating the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea en route whilst using Odejayi, Van Homoet and other below average footballers.

    That’s a fairytale.

I don't begrudge them. Especially when you see Rob Mac's passion for grassroots sport. He chose a down on its luck old mining town with long standing football club. We would've fit the same criteria.

As other have said its not a real fairytale.. but good luck to them!

Don't know how they do it on such a shoestring budget. Easy to see why the media love this fairytale......

Still can’t understand why such a proud Welsh team would want to play in the English league

I suppose it is a fairy tale. Wrexham marrying the handsome, rich Prince and living happily ever after (or until he gets bored and wants a divorce!)

It’s only a few months ago that their fans were patting themselves on the back over their finances, although some hadn’t realised that the accounts related to the previous tax year, which saw promotion from the 4th tier.

They’ve had it fairly easy climbing out of non league and lower tiers, but now things start to get far more expensive for the owners, and I’m not sure if they have many assets to offset their spend.

Daft really when you think about it. Had they had 12k fans before, they probably wouldn’t have dropped down as far as they did, and may have already been a championship or remained a steady league one club. Certainly wouldn’t have needed the circus they currently have.

They should be deducted 50 points for having an owner who changed his name to "Rob Mac"

He also put on over 4 stone just so his character would genuinely be fat for a series of always sunny. He's not afraid to do out there stuff to be noticed.

But i believe its actually because when he was first investing in the mexican club he now part owns, noone could pronounce his name!!
