    Only official bids according to one of their more reliable sources says it’s come from abroad and a ‘bottom half’ League 1 side. We’re neither.

    It was doing the rounds on X that he'd actually failed his medical.

    When a player fails a medical, it usually leaks, however, both clubs try and stop that from getting out due to it affecting the value of the player in the future.

    No proof of course, but things like 'the structure of the deal' are usually buttoned up before the player steps foot inside the buying clubs' doors.

    I'd love us to sign him. Appears to have the right personality for what CH wants his players to have. Physically he's what we've been missing.

    Could be a shrewed bit of business.

    good points made here. What is the order of events in the process. I would guess, club fees agreed, payment terms, player package and finally the medical. Is that how it works?

    I believe he failed the Luton medical because they realised that he hadn’t previously played for Barnsley.
